Everything is PUBLIC until you make it PRIVATE

Do you remember the time when going out with your friends should be planned in detail in advance? My friend, I’ll meet you in ‘t Hooghuis in Antwerp around 18h00 tomorrow. Now, you just book a time slot together and we’ll moving into the direction of Antwerp you give each other a call to arrange a place to meet. And when you friend seems to be  late, you just send him or her a text message. Amazing how quick everything goes today, isn’t it?  “Everything is PUBLIC until you make it PRIVATE” verder lezen

Are you a consumer, a creator or an investor?

Today I was watching a program called ‘De Liefde voor Muziek’ (The Love for Music) on the Belgium television. Completely relaxed and enjoying the creativeness of artists like Kate Ryan, Stan Van Samang, Guy Swinnen, Tom Helsen, … I start realising the beauty of creating this. Would you like to be a creator of something or rather just be a consumer? Or are you in the middle grey zone, earning money every day to consume? “Are you a consumer, a creator or an investor?” verder lezen

Who loves the competition, got banished from our Facebook page!

Marketers already know that not only fans are important on your Facebook page or group but it’s all about the REAL fans. Real fans that are talking about the brand and it’s products. A good Facebook page is one that is supported by fans and good interactions.

Burger King in Norway did a radical social campaign. The brand had a good Facebook page with 38.000 fans, which is very high for Norway, but got too much negative comments from the people. The brand came up with the Whopper Sellout-campaign to test the loyalty towards the brand. The followers had the choice to like to new Facebook-page or to receive money to go and buy a burger from McDonald’s. The ones that choose to go for the Big Mac also receive a farewell letter from Burger King saying that they were forever banished from their Facebook page. “Who loves the competition, got banished from our Facebook page!” verder lezen
